“For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved, it is the power of God.”
1 Corinthians 1:18
The fcYouth ministry exists to CHALLENGE every student to actively PURSUE a growing RELATIONSHIP with Jesus Christ, through various WORSHIP experiences, BIBLICAL teachings, SERVICE opportunities, and opportunities to FELLOWSHIP with other believers; ultimately resulting in growth towards SPIRITUAL MATURITY.
FUEL, the 7th-12th grade Sunday night program, gathers during the school year to connect with other students, caring adult leaders and most importantly with God. FUEL includes group activities, worship, big group teaching, and small group time. 7th -8th graders meet from 6-7:30 pm. 9th -12th graders meet from 7-8:30 pm.Grades 7th-8th | Sunday Eventings | 6:00 pm Grades 9th-12th | Sunday Evenings | 7:00pm Foundations, a class ultimately designed for our junior high students, meets during the 11:00 am service in the Activities Center/Youth Room. Foundations covers topics that are foundational to building a lifelong active faith. The class will meet for 12 weeks, twice a year, and cover topics like: Old Testament overview, New Testament overview, Church history, Prayer, Communion, Baptism, Attributes of God and Stewardship, just to name a few. We want students to be confident in their understanding of Scripture as well as their ability to apply biblical truth to everyday life. Because this is a brand new class, our current high school students never got a chance to participate in the class. We didn’t want them to miss out on this foundational information, so for the next 2 years we are encouraging all our high school students to attend the 9:15 service and then come to the class to get equipped.
