Club 56 | Wednesday Afternoons

Wednesday afternoons, from 2:00-4:00pm, First Christian provides an after school program called Club 56. Our goal is to provide a safe, fun, Christ centered environment for middle school students.

We commit to offering the best possible program for your student. There will be plenty of fun, active teaching, games, snacks, and a chance for your student to connect with their peers and at the same time develop or grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

Transportation from the Middle School to First Christian Church will be provided by the Mid States School Bus Company. Each week, the students will go to the designated meeting spot and will be checked in by Club 56 volunteers as they board the bus. It is the responsibility of the parents to pick their students up at First Christian Church between 3:50-4:00.  To help cover the costs of safe transportation and snacks for your children, Club 56 costs $65 per student for the entire semester.

Sunday School | Sundays @ 9:15 & 11 am

Our 5th & 6th grade Sunday School class takes 2 years to go through what we call the 100 essentials. These are 100 passages, half from the old and half from the new testaments, which we believe are essential in communicating God’s redemptive plan. Through the use of both biblical and extra-biblical historical accounts, the students will achieve a strong understanding of what these passages reveal to us about God, and how they should shape or lives and choices.  For questions contact Jess Springer, jessica.springer@gmail.com.
